Welcome Screen

I have the welcome center "run at startup" unchecked in the control panel,and it does not load,but just a plain "welcome screen" flashes just before the desktop does.Is there a way to eliminate this 2 sec flash? OS Vista home premium.

Shawn thx for the prompt reply.I did as you directed but that "welcome flash" still shows up.This is a minor issue so I don't expect to take up anymore of your time.

No problem. I'll post back if I can think of anything else, but I don't think you can eliminate that one though.

Josh I am the only user,but I will mention this that this "welcome splash" as I refer to it was not there in the past.I always record any changes I make and nothing associated with this.As mentioned it is minor guys.
