Solved Upgrading to Windows 7, just a few questions..

Hey all!
So, I've decided to upgrade to Seven, but I've got a few questions.

Can I install Seven and keep all my stuff? I've read something about all my files going to a Windows.old file/folder?

I have 2 partitions on my main drive from when I was using Ubuntu, the drive size 150GB, with the C partition as 140.34GB, and the other partition as 8.70GB, can I delete the second partition, then extend the first partition to the full drive size, then upgrade to Seven?

Another Suggestion I would make is to BACK UP ALL YOUR FILES MANUALLY

And then do a Clean Install also make sure you make a List of all the Programs you have and there download Sites this is a Long Process

Also you may want to use Windows Easy Transfer Found in Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools


This will copy all your Users and Files on to a External HDD and then when you have Done a CLEAN INSTALL To Windows 7 Run the Windows Easy Transfer

You may get Errors and Problems Transferring if that happens Delete Any Files it has Created (Including Users) And transfer your files and folders and create Users Manually

Okay,
The Advisor says that my computer will work with Seven.
Just a few programs that won't.
It says that there is 12.1GB space, and it needs 16GB. How do I get rid of that other partition, and make the drive one?

EDIT;
Installing it on a separate 40GB drive I found for now, just in case I mess up, and so I can get a taster of what it's like ;)
Will eventually get round to fresh installing it on a bigger drive, and when I have upgraded my system.

EDIT2;
Deleted the 8GB partition, and now the drive is one.
Going to boot with the Seven disc and use the upgrade option, it should go okay, but as a caution, I'm going to wipe the 40GB drive, back-up my important files then upgrade.
