The Gateway process to create OEM Recovery Discs did not work on my computer so I have to purchase discs somewhere.
Where do I purchase the discs that SHOULD have come with my computer.

I couldn't use discs that I could not create. The process of creating the discs failed. At some point the Windows Installer got messed up and I cannot install any software etc. Because I could never create the discs I don't have them to use to "repair" the computer. Then they gave me a process to use to clean the cpu and start over and of course that didn't work either.

I absolutely hate my Vista computer. Give me back the old day with XP when there were no problems.

I would call the seller and the computer MFg. Try to get the CD at cost.

When Gateway was Gateway they would have done so but basically the peope making and selling Gateway today could not care less. They want $250 to fix my computer. Nuts! No more Gateways for me.

I just posted about my issues because the thread was about creating recovery discs and I wanted people to know I was unable to do that.
