Appologize in advance if this has already been asked. I looked around and didn't see anything on it so here it is:

Is it possible to remove the picture box that's on the startup/welcome screen? If it matters, I'm running Home Premium, 64 bit.

Try the following tutorial to see if that helps: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/79886-logon-screen-change.html. It may be a matter of changing it to something else and the something else can be something plain (not a true picture) and that may do the trick (or at least be satisfactory).
