Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me on this problem i hav regarding windows vista. I turned on my laptop and when I go to write something either on Word or the internet, for Eg, the letter L locks my laptop straight away, and C goes to the Control Panel, they seem to be automatic shortcuts, I have no idea how to stop this, i have tried useing the toggle keys, but this does not work for me, does anyone know?

Do you know when this problem began? Try a System Restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem began. Here's the procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-system-restore-how.html. Be sure to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points. If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two. NOTE: You will have to re-install any software and updates you installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for the updates.

You might check to see if it may be Sticky Keys that got turned on by mistake for your Windows key. Be sure to uncheck the Turn on Sticky Keys when SHIFT is pressed five times option.
