So yeah, I am a Vista user since end 2007, after i formatted this old laptop at April 2009 that has Vista on it, I just found out that I can now put my name as owner of it so, yeah. But now, it's just like I don't feel satisfied using it because its kinda affecting me emotionally bit, for example you buy Ipod, and you feel kinda happy. But this Vista, feels like you're using something that is different, that is completely different than an Ipod. And I feel something that is incomplete in terms of satisfaction or happiness compare to previous operating systems and its affecting me in terms of long-term experiences, and NOT short term!

Cause, I have been switching from hidden Administrator and my own 'Muz' account since April 2009, look at my SSID, it is now no. 1335 at the end of it. Can you imagine how many times I did deleting my own account and then using the hidden Administrator and then creating another "Muz" account again and again repeatedly. Guys! Please! Why is Vista is not making me feel satisfied using it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at the screenshot below, I still even didn't change my wallpaper since then, which was from April 2009..........................

And it is affecting at all of my surroundings including my studies, my driving experiences!!!! Please help me!!!!!!! I can't be productive if I am just being like this!!!!!!!!!!

So, yeah here is a screenshot of my Windows

Please HELP ME!!! OR SHOULD I JUST PUT MY REAL NAME ON MY WINDOWS, BUT THATS JUST SOUND SILLY!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! WHY the name Muz !!!! is not perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE DONT CALL ME CRAZY BUT IN FACT I AM NOT, BUT THIS WINDOWS IS MAKING ME GO CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! AND BALLISTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ummm, its just accounts problem actually....
so ummm, I just don't know which one is the best to use cause they have different names, one is Administrator, and one is Muz, so..........

I know probably you're going to say switch off the Administrator and use Muz alone, but when I use it, I sometimes get bored with the account, and just want to activate the hidden Administrator and create its profile folder again..........

And then, when I'm using the hidden Administrator, I feel like I am not using Windows in a default setting or which way I am suppose to use it, which is to create another account and leave the hidden Administrator alone......so, I've been juggling between these 2 activities!!!!!!!

It's just either Administrator, or Muz, cause I just can't decide which name to use permanently................

Yeah, i can change the account full name of Administrator, but I am using Home Basic, so I can't change the actual Administrator name through Local Security Policy.

Right now im using the switch user type so i dont have to go through deleting and creating another account again and again..........AND IM USING IT IN SAFE MODE SO THAT I CAN SWITCH IT FAST NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But if you can change the name of the Administrator folder to your own name, that means you dont need another account right,

and if you use another account, you will have a backup which is a hidden admin....

I'm just so confused how to use this windows properly, just because of account names..........If I have more problems Ill keep posting..........

You do not want to rename a user folder directly. Doing so will corrupt the user profile.

Instead you will have to rename the user account through User Accounts in the Control Panel, or create a new account with the name you like instead and delete the old one.

Yeah, but you can rename the folder if you havent log in to it before, or deleted it from Advanced Profile properties.

Right now I've renamed Administrator folder to Muz, and IDK WHY AM I CONSTANTLY CHANGING THESE STUFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ARRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changing the name in User Accounts is the simplest solution if all you want to do is change the name.

If you do decide instead to create a new account with a different name (or maybe even the same name) to replace the old one, you may want to take precautions to save any data or profile information from the old account before deleting it. If this is what you elect to do, I recommend you treat the situation as if you had a corrupt user profile. The following article should assist you in the transfer so you don't lose anything in the process:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.

For what it's worth, I keep a standard user profile for daily use (for security, it's best not to always use an Administator account as any malware infection or hacking of the system when using that type of account is more dangerous because of its increased access to the system - and that goes double for the built-in Administrator Account). Then I have two Windows Administrator profiles (one I use when I need an account with Administrative priviledges and the other as a backup in case of emergencies so I don't have to resort to the built-in Administrator account if/when anything happens to that Administrator account - and things sometimes do happen). I only use the built-in Administrator account when I have no other choice (and that hasn't actually happened to me yet because I have the backup account but this is the plan) - otherwise, I leave it disabled but able to be enabled in an emergency and then, once the problem is resolved, deactivate it again (as it is a common account and using it or keeping it enabled represents a slight but real - and IMHO unnecessary - security risk). There are many ways to manage accounts in Vista - I'm merely presenting this as an alternative to consider as it is safe and has worked very well for me.

Also, I would not operate continuously in Safe Mode. It is best to work in Normal Mode (for many reasons including increased functionality). I recommend you find a way to choose one primary account and login with it normally. If the need to keep switching is happening because you've installed programs using different accounts and so don't have access to all of them with one account, then I recommend you select the account you want to use and re-install the programs using that account so everythng you need will be in one place (and move the data to that account as well).

I hope this helps.

Good luck!
