windows Vista will boot in safe mode

Hi

I am running WIN VISTA SP1 HOME PREM 64 BIT and it will Automaticaly restart in safe mode- I have checked in msconfig under boot and safe boot is unchecked. Yet the system will go to safe mode. Is there any thing else that can be done to resolve this or will have to reinstall windows on the system.

Is this what you did?

If this is what you did it means that there is a problem which prevents Vista from starting correctly, most likely a driver.
Try using system restore from before the problem
Try a start up repair
