    Re: alphabetical order on files

You can also open Documents and click on the item in the Title bar (in this instance, Name) by which you want to sort and it will sort it all automatically that way - first folders and then files (but not combining the two together). To reverse the order, just click that header again and it will sort the other way. You can choose any item listed in the title bar (or, if you want, add more by right clicking on the title bar and clicking more and adding additional categories as you desire).

As with most things in Vista, there are often several ways to accomplish the same task.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

Glad that we were there for you
As an added note, all the notes and software will not keep you safe; common sense is essential
You may, also, want to download and use winpatrol
Its free, if anything is downloaded, within minutes Scotty the Dog barks so you know and can accept or reject.
One of the best Security people, Corrine, uses it all the time
    Has many other features, too.
    Thanks for the rep.
