Hi innocentboy,
I'm not sure when you started using Firefox or for how long or if you previously used IE or Chrome or something else (and how recently), but these other browsers may have some of these bookmarks and you should be able to export them to Firefox and at least have those (if this is applicable and if there are any there).
The following article may help restore some or even many of the Firefox bookmarks (it goes just a few days back but I believe it is complete for those 5 days and assuming it wasn't also deleted with an uninstallation):
How to Find Firefox Bookmarks Backup in Vista | eHow.com.
This is pretty much what is covered in the prior article and the one Richard posted, but go to the bottom and there are procedures for recovering bookmarks from backups and/or other existing firefox profiles that may help (if they still exist):
Lost Bookmarks | Troubleshooting | Firefox Support.
If you have a regular backup of your data and files, it may be possible to recover the bookmarks from that backup if you have one that was done before you lost them or did the uninstall. If you have such a backup, please post back and we'll try to walk you through the procedure on how to recover them. It's essentially what is noted above (though using the restore program to access the information), but the actual folder (as opposed to just the backup ones) may be available on the regular backup and we may be able to restore from there. Of course, any added since the backup was made will not be there - just those up to that point.
Other than that, I do not believe they can be recovered as they aren't like regular files.
I hope this helps. Otherwise, I believe you are simply out of luck.
Good luck!
