It's a 3tb WD My Book Essential
Right now it has one NTFS partition that's 2tb but on the other side are 2 separated unallocated spaces, they are also side by side but separated
One is 94.87 GB and the other is 746.49 GB
I can right click the smaller one and make into a volume but I can't extend that and when I right click the the bigger one it doesn't let me do anything except see properties and help.
I really don't want to lose this space so can anyone help
I am viewing this from the Vista disk manager

Welcome
Many members use Patrtition Wizard.
A word of caution, this tool is powerful, be sure that you have expertise in this area. You will not have as many restrictions as you have with the built in disk manager. Since you do not want to mess up your c drive or your recovery partition use with caution.

Don't worry I am only going to mess with the external
At the moment it is completely empty as I did not want to put anything on it until I fixed this problem
Thank you for the help, I will say if it helps

I can do that, actually my problem is that I have two separate unallocated spaces but only one can be partitioned
But the current problem is that in Partition Wizard I can only see Disk 1 which has the C: and D: drives. I can't see my Externals G: and H: drives

My Computer

Are they both formatted NTFS
Can you see the external during normal use?

I can see it normally
I can put files on it
I changed the 2tb to FAT32 though, the point of the whole thing was for the PS3 afterall
What is the limit to a FAT32 drive
I have 1 FAT32 2TB Partition and 2 separate, side by side, unallocated spaces

Ok, I rebooted the computer and I still can't see my external in the Partition Wizard
It did the autoplay thing asking if I want to view the folders, videos, etc. and I can't see it

Ok, I rebooted my computer and I still can't see my External in the Partition Wizard
I can see it in Disk Management though
And the computer did the autoplay thing where it asks me to view videos, folders, music, etc.

Ok, in that Partition Assist program I can see the disk
I formatted the 96 gb unallocated space to NTFS and then when I tried to extend it in the program it said
The program detected that bytes per sector is not 512, does not work on the disk!

Ok, I tried this trick out and it said this

C:\Windows\system32>format h: /fs:ntfs /a:512
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Enter current volume label for drive H: Anime Stream

WARNING, ALL DATA ON NON-REMOVABLE DISK
DRIVE H: WILL BE LOST!
Proceed with Format (Y/N)? Y
Formatting 97150M
The specified cluster size is too small. The minimum valid
cluster size value for this drive is 4096.

C:\Windows\system32>
