    Winding up old threads

    Dear fellows;

    I have been away for some time. One month after my last thread, a deer hit my car and messed it up badly. I finally got it back two months later and now with the new year I am back with you again.

    I find that I had forgotten about my still active thread Opposite sized icon problem than before.

    I have not found a solution to this problem yet. I would like to close out this old thread and start anew.

    How should I proceed? Thanks.

    Well
    YOu see the icons upper right
    Click on the triangle
    When it pops out just type solved.
    When you post your new problems, I will try to help if I can.

    OK, I did what you said (went to that thread and found the red triangle-then typed Solved in the word box-hit Send Report), signed out, signed back in, and still I don't see the green checkmark on that old thread to indicate it is Solved.

    Does it take awhile to get the green checkmark or did I do something wrong?

    Actually you sent solved to a moderator and they will mark it as solved. You did it right.

    If it is the same problem, you could have stayed there. Anyway, this is for the old problem
    Desktop Icon size

    You did it right, the other thread is marked solved

    Re: Winding up old threads

    If your old thread wasn't solved, you should just post a new post in it to say that you're still having the problem and explain it. There's no need to mark it as solved if it isn't and just make a new thread on the same thing again.

    I apologize but that's what I though you wanted me to do-end the old one because it had not gotten any replies-and start a new one on the same subject but worded differently.
