Solved desktop wont respond(only beeps when clicking)

when i try clicking anywhere on the desktop it just gives 1 beep and nothing else.
im able to use vista menu and taskbar right now..

help me please? my computer was all right and then this problem came up suddenly.

Welcome to the forum,

Since this just started can you just use http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-system-restore-how.html

And go back to point before this started happening.

Additionally it would be a good idea to run a full scan with Malwarebytes

Do an update then full scan.

about the malware part, isnt nod32 supposed to protect against that too?

It is suppose to protect, but you have to keep it up to date
and if you do
sometimes new ones are created before definitions to protect can be written.

In addition Derekimo is correct, because malwarebytes is one of the best

all that i needed was to clean the computer(package?)(i mean inside the computer)
i didnt do it in the first place because i thought it would be stupid to believe that cleaning dust will solve what seemed to me as software problem.
now my computer runs faster and im really happy
