Hi

I am not brilliant with computers and I have vista on my work Mac, I tried to open a 2 files yesterday which were Zipped, but I chose the wronge programme to open it and didnt realise that the box was ticked which said Alway use the selected program to open this kind of file.

Now every zipped file I have has changed to quicktime, I am unable to change it back, open a Zipped File nor Zip a file as it zips it in Quicktime.

I have tried a couple of things even downloading somthing suggested on Vista forum but this did not work, but I am now at a dead end.

This is what I tried from a vista programme but nothing happened

I have checked a few things it zips and unzips perfectly well now, but when deleting the file you get the confirmation to delete and comes up with a picture of quick time file.
