Vista Reinstall + Internet Access?

If I reinstall Vista will I be disconnected from the internet?

I have two PCs; the primary is connected to the internet via LAN wire, the other is wireless. My primary PC has a problem and I am considering a reinstall of Vista. During this reinstall, I'll need the internet for troubleshooting.

The problem is that I don't know if the wireless PC will still be connected to the internet when I reinstall the primary PC.

To enable the internet for both PCs, I have to select 'enable' on the primary PC first. The wireless PC will not access the internet just by switching the router on.

if by "wireless", you mean a wireless router, then you shouldnt have a problem. you should still be connected to the internet with your second PC.

Yes, the second PC connects wirelessly to the router. The primary PC connects via a cable.

What concerns me is that I previously altered something in the network settings (primary PC). Before this I could just switch the router on and the wireless PC could connect to the internet. Now I need to enable the connection on the primary PC first, for the secondary PC to connect. (maybe it doesn't automatically pick up the ip address)

When reinstalling the primary PC, I'm concerned that I won't be able to connect to the internet on the secondary PC, as I won't be able to enable it.
