Full RAM amount not being seen

Hello, I have upgraded my system to 6GB of ram, but it is only listing it in the system properties as 3.25GB.

It came with 3GB of RAM, Am I missing a step here?:huh:

Gateway FX 7020
AMD Phenom 9600 2.31 GHZ quad-core

Although I am only a NEWBIE, a 32bit system will only take up to 4gig of RAM.

So your system will not recognise the full 6gig.
64bit systems will take more memory upgrade.
But please check, don;t take my word for it.

Kesume is correct. Based upon what you have told us, you do not have a problem
