Hi there, hope some out there can shed some light on the following errors and warnings showing up in Event Viewer.I do have a problem which I'm trying to solve-
the system boots fine but will "lock" programs and wont connect to a network
for about ten minutes or so and then continues as normal.I've tried all the usual suspects like antivirus, malware, sbybot etc.I tried clean boot without success
but it boots OK in Safe Mode with no delay but when I return to Normal Boot
the problem reoccurs.Along with error below there are Warnings that the following Services caused a delay in the System shutdown process; Dhcp, iphlpsvc, LanmanWorkstation, VideoAccelerator Service, slsvc, Schedule, Wlansvc, IKEEXT,
FontCache, Rasman, SSDPSRV, MsMpSvc, LanmanServer, TrkWks, fsssvc,

If you are not using those services go to search by the start button and type services. In services, turn them off a few at a time. If the computer acts in a way that you do not like you will know the culprit.

re: Event Viewer Warnings & Error's Help

Hi there, tonight after another bout of system crashes and hangs I looked at Event Viewer and saw an
"entry" for Windows Live Family Safety 2011,this mentioned something about a program hanging at boot
so I went to Add/Delete Programs and uninstalled it.I shut down and restarted and almost immediately
Network connections were made-that was the first time since December that that happened. I had
suspected any amount of other software which I had uninstalled without success, that was one of the worst
problems I have ever had with MS Vista.
Cheers
