Question about IE9RC and sfc /scannow

I have noticed that running sfc /scannow results in the scan indicating that it found corrupted files and repaired them; deleting the CBS scan log, restarting and rescanning - I get the same results. (IE9RC was running smoothly).

IE9RC was uninstalled and reverted to IE8; reran the sfc /scannow. Now there is no indicaton of corrupt files or integrity violations.

Why does the installation of IE9RC cause the system file scanner to indicate the presence of corrupt files? I am running Vista 64.

The SFC command does not know the difference between a corrupted file and a new file. Using IE 9, SFC indicates that the files are corrupt, yet they are actually new.

That I cannot tell you. Its RC now. I do not know what IE will have in the future.
I tend to doubt, however, that changes will be made.
