Photos in Slideshow Screensaver look distorted

When I make a photo slide show as my screen saver the photos look distorted. Like every fraction of an inch (1/8 maybe?) it takes all of the pixels and moves them up a quarter of an inch or so then back down. It's hard to describe, but the end result is that the images look blurry and when there are sharp lines of contrasting colors you can clearly see what is happening(pixels shifted up).

Any thoughts?

Sorry, I zoomed it to full screen on my computer and didn't see any problem.
What size is the screen you are putting it on?
Could you try to resize it to match your monitor and see if that fixes it.
Windows standard paint or you could use the better paint.net

ilikefree, I just looked at the image posted from a different computer and you can definitely see the the distortion. Look closer, the effect is not that great. Those borders between 2 colors in that image are meant to be clean lines. Instead they kind of "jut" out a bit in sharp little thingies (hard to explain).

Here are 2 more images you can look at. In the one with the bird i circled where it is most obvious. The one with the circles and lines is supposed to be just that; perfect circles and lines. Instead you can see the little..."jutty pokey"...things happening.

I have found a partial solution. When i change the theme on the slide show from "Classic" to "Fade" the problem is gone. However in fade mode the images are slightly blurry compared to an image set as my background (therefore full screen), which is obviously not much better.

All of these things also happen when i put the images into a regular slide show (not screen saver).

Regarding the size, the screen is a 22" monitor running at 1280x800 resolution with native 1680x1050 (both 16:10). The original resolution of the first image was 2560x1600 (also 16:10).

The bird,I did notice and as you are already using an image that is larger than your screen I am unable to offer any ideas,Sorry It's a bit like de-interlacing needed.
