Error when Upgradin from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit

Hello, So i have Windows vista 32-Bit service pack 2, and I am trying to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit. I downloaded Windows 7 from my school, burned it to a DVD and when i click on Setup (Windows Installer) i get this message:

"C:\Users\Marlone\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Burn\setup.exe
This version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check our computer's system information to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

What do i have to do to upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7? Any help will be greatly appreciate.

You CANNOT upgrade 32 tp 64. You CAN use an ugrade DVD, but you must do a clean install. Follow these instructions and you will be all set.
