I did a quick search but noticed most of the posts on this where from a few years so I though it would be useful ( for all those here looking build one ) to start a thread for an updated collection of recommended builds others could use as reference.

i.e. What graphics cards, motherboards , processors , cases work better than others together in achieving certain requirements or aims .

As the title suggests Im looking for something Gaming / Multimedia focus with emphasis more on slots and available for future upgrades , rather than having an over-top- system that is probably beyond my currents needs.

Based on this , and having system that will still be relevant in a couple of years , Id be interested to hear what others here are using to build their machines.

thanks,

snoko

Hi,

I am not building a PC at the moment but you could start by assessing these: -

Gaming PC 2011 - TopTenREVIEWS

If any of the components match your expectations you could then start to build a component list of what you want or need.
