Windows search issue

Anyone any suggestions on this.

If I type in msconfig after hitting the start button, Windows happily offers my MSConfig cleanup, but not msconfig.exe - which is usually the one I want!

If I type in the whole phrase msconfig.exe, then it finds it, but that surely defaeats the whole point of the search.

PS using Vista Home Premium SP2

Then type msconfig in the cmd

If that does not work, try to type it in run, by search menu.
Dont know how to change it in search.

Thanks folks. I do not have a problem running msconfig, I'm simply trying to understand why the Search does not work correctly!

I have the Search options in Folder options set to default, so I would have thought that the prog would have been found.

In indexing options,Advanced try setting it to treat similar words with diacritics as different words.
