Vista Won't Honor HTML Color Commands

For all websites that I visit that are constructed in HTML, the page backgrounds are white and text is black. The HTML color commands are being ignored. This does not occur in either my XP system or my Windows 7 system...ONLY IN MY VISTA 64 SYSTEM.

Any ideas?

Could you do full AV scan
Download & full scan with malwarebytes,update first.
Malwarebytes freeware

If clean try this:-

If problems found run 3 times, let us know the results.
There are other things we can try if these fail.
Have you had the problem long, or has it just started?

re: AV scan; I have run the Vipre deep system scan...all clear.
re: Registry scan; I ran Uniblue Registry Booster...more than 500 errors first pass...now all clear
Currently slowly and carefully updating out-of-date drivers...quite a few yet to address.
HTML problem still exists...again, only in this Vista 64 system.
re: length of problem...as long as I have been using this computer (many, many months)

richc46...thanks for the response...I currently have three different browsers in this Vista 64 system...Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer (was 7, now 8). I normally use Firefox, but installed Opera and IE in troubleshooting this problem. It occurs with all three browsers, but only in this Vista 64 system.
