Hi Forum,

The following notifications are constantly appearing in the above sometimes just warnings at other times "critical" or "error". Some advice please :-

Sorry that you are having problems. Unfortunately, with some problems it is a difficut fix and you may have to live with the problem.
Per this aritcle (which may not relate to Vista, but the principle applies) the problem seems to be related to registry. There are several safe ways to fix the problem
The best is by a system restore, set a few days before the problem began

The second is possibly by a repair install.

The third is to manually adjust the registry to the correct configuration
The fourth is to reinstall

If it were my computer, I would try a system restore, if that did not work, I would try to forget about it.

Thank you,Richard. These warnings in the Log appear every day so it is pointless doing a System Restore. Again, I don't feel they are too serious so I shall adopt your latter suggestion and just forget about matters. Peter

Just for your information. My years with this and the Seven forums has taught me that most problems with the OS is due to members trying to increase the computer speed or fix minor problems. Although, my computer is currently working the way it should, I would not try to fix minor problems, unless, I was sure of the outcome. If things get very bad, I will use my saved image, and start fresh.
You can make an image, now, in case you encounter future serious problems.
