Previous problem resurrected

About 3 months ago I posted about a problem with my Vista Home Premium machine and the problem was resolved. Here's the thread:http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/286305-graphics-missing-help-support-window.html.
Upon restarting after a routine Windows update I'm back to displaying the following in a Help and Support window:


I applied the registry fix as before, but to no avail. Any ideas? I could actually live with the problem, but it's there and will drive me nuts until resolved.

You might see if OPTION TWO in the tutorial below may be able to help. I replaced the link at the link above since it's a bit more thorough than that one.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, no cigar. The problem persists after following #2.

Ok. Next, see if downloading and merging the .XML, .XSL, .PNG, .JPG, .CSS options in the tutorial below may be able to help. They will restore the default associations for these file extensions that are used in Help and Support that may be responsible.

Unfortunately, same unsuccessful result. Funny, but it seems to be ONLY the 'image' in the lower left hand part of the Help and Support window (as in the pic I posted). All other images have been restored from previous fix and these fixes.

I'm just throwing this out there as a thought, but I see that next to the missing image, it says "send feedback to HP...
Could this probably be a problem with HP, or the way something is setup on an HP machine?
