Solved My Documents moved to My Picture

Hello,

Already here in Japan life is tough my computer also put me in trouble.

Today when I was saving Power point slide as an image some how by cursor movement My Documents folder moved to My Picture folder.
I tired to move or copy My Document folder and its content to its original place but it failed. I triedd again and succeeded to copy My Document folder and contents to the original place.

Later I deleted My Documents folder from My Picture
when I returned to (original) My Documents folder it said, can not open.
In short, Spending time I recovered files from Recycle bin using a Software and now I got two My Documents one is on its original place and 2nd in My Picture.
I did not understand, when there was no My Document in My Picture how come it recopied in My picture again.

Question: Should I delete My Documents in My Picture?
Am I making any mistake?

Your help is badly needed.

Thank you for informative reply.
Beofre I do anything please check screen shot.
My Documents folder which is now on correct place got this path
C:\Users\Ari\Pictures\3D\Documents
Also My Documents folder inside My Picture got same path
C:\Users\Ari\Pictures\3D\Documents

In this case how could I change the to proper place
should I still use option two as mentioned in the link you sent?

Please reply

PS* my system is in Japanese where needed typed English for reference.

I would recommend to copy the contents of these folders to another location as a backup to be safe, then restore the default location of both of them using the steps in OPTION TWO in the tutorial. Afterwards, they should be good to go again.

First of all thank you for reply and using caution(backup)in the tutorial.

I followed all steps and now My Documents Property is empty no folder.
Steps followed and what I did:

3. To Restore Default Documents Folder Location
A) Click on the download button below to download the file below.
Restore_Documents_Default_Location.zip
it was already extracted when I downloaded and saved on desktop.
followed all in between steps
20. Type in the full default path (see table below) of the user folder, and click on OK.
C:\Users\Ari\Documents (this is what I did)
23. In the elevated command prompt, Copy and Paste the command below for the user folder icon that you want to restore to default.
:\Windows\System32>attrib +r -s -h %USERPROFILE%\Downloads /S /D (this is how I did)
26. Open the Start Menu, then Copy and Paste the Shell command (see table below) in the search box for the User folder that you want to restore, and press Enter.
It opened the missing personal user folder and I thought I am done.
shell:Personal (this is how I did)
27. Log off and log on, or restart the computer to finish restoring the user folder location.
NOTE: Sometimes you may need to restart more than once for the changes to be applied.
By mistake I turned off instead restart or log off, and later I also did several restart but My documents not working. I also check

Refer screen shot. The new one is blank while older with wrong path showing detials in property.

Big thanks to you and Shwan for help.

As you said, try again, I did and it is working.
First of all choosing path and other thing as mentioned
at
Personal User Folder - Restore Missing Folder
The new My Document folder was empty, I dragged and dropped contents from the one in
My Picture and now in properties it is showing correct path.
Without taking any time files copied from My Documents/My Picture to New place within few seconds and got emptied. Therefore, later I deleted.
Now I got only one My Documents in the right place with right path.
