Solved Help please! why would external hard drive path changed?

Hello Forum's member.

I have noticed path of my external drive is changed from F to E and therefore, the Music Program can not read audio files.

I wonder how come path can be changed and
How can I correct the path from E to F
is there any way?

Hello ,

Right click on my computer, select "Manage". on the left side go to disk management in storage section here u can change drive letter. Just select the drive which you wants its path to be changed. Right click on the drive, and go to "Change Drive Letter and Partitions".

Hi,

Today drive name changed from E to H any way.
Here is a screen shot. I have marked steps and added English text.
I am confused How to change the Letter, am I suppose to type so
should I first click on change as marked 4 change tab.
Please guide and oblige.
Note I want now change drive letter from H to F

Note   Note
You cannot use a letter that is already used , For example you cannot use the letter D if your DVD Drive is the letter D

Thank you for reply.
My external drive path changed from F to E and to today it is H,
Unless I correct it I could not use of my sotware. Therefore, it should be F.

So, it is not computer drive or dvd drive it is external hard drive.
