I know this is the old tread, but I just googling for Low subfolders...
http://www.vistax64.com/vista-general/226343-52-levels-subfolders-named-low-temp-folder.html.
On my friend's computer I make two users "TheBigGuy", obviosly, with the admin privilegies, and "theSmallMujo" limited account. Now, I logon as "theSmallMujo", and from "C:\Users\theSmallMujo" folder security tab remove all permissions for "TheBigGuy", including taking ownership. Then I'm testing.
As I except "TheBigGuy" can't viewing or searching "C:\Users\theSmallMujo" folder. I don't risk with ownership.
I doubleclicked on "My Computer", then "C drive". Right Click on the "theSmallMujo" folder and "Scan using Spybot-Search&Destroy". Spybot scaned 0 files. Right Click again and "Scan selected files with Antivir". Avira scaned 0 files.
And now surprise: "Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" do it.
Then I see
"C:\Users\qNet\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\\Low"
then
"C:\Users\qNet\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\\Low\Low".
There is two backslashes: "Cookies\\Low", and I don't think that there is just 52 subfolders because Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware scaning that folders forever.
Now, is it odd or is it odd. It's nice to know that Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware can't be easy tricked with this permissions tweak, but it's meaning that permissions just is not safe enough, and off course I hope that both Avira AntiVir and Spybot get this feature in future.
