I am the owner and sole user of my computer.

I want to install a new program.

When I try to install it, I get a message telling me the administrator does not want me to install it.

What can I do to override this and install the program I want? pogo25pogo

Welcome
Several things to try. The first thing I would try is the hidden administrator. Give that a try.

The hidden adminstrator is the most powerful and the true adminstrator. Do not use on a daily basis.
You can, also, try right click on program and run as administrator. This can be done by saving to the desktop, first.
I think, however, that the true administrator will solve the problem.

Hello Pogo,

Rich is absolutely right....you can try several things.

first try try to install the drivers using administrative privileges.
1. Right click on setup file, go to properties.
2. Click on Compatibility tab, then choose "Run as an administrator" under "Privilege Level"

Second what i think this may be due to corrupt user account. You may also create a new account with administrative privileges and install drivers and check if it helps.
