Files and folder containing images/icons

Vista Home Premium.
We know that Root\WINDOWS\System32\SHELL32.dll and Root\WINDOWS\System32\imageres.dll are two default Vista files that contain quite a few icons. Are there any other system .dll's or other files that contain images/icons from which to choose a default icon? Thanks you in advance for any information.

Thanks, rich. I've already tapped into the files imageres.dll and shell32.dll, just wondering if there was amother file that had additional icons.

That is pretty cool as far as the drive icons are concerned. Although I don't mind going into the registry I'd rather take the drive icon and add the DVD banner to the pic in Gimp.

Sorry Mark, that is it as far as I know. Unless your are really proficient with registry, it would be best not to take that route. If you do be sure to make a system restore point first and back up the registry.

Hey, if that's it then great. I was merely curious if they're were other icons in the system (other than what comes with apps) that I was not familiar with.
Thanks for the reply. I think I'll call it good. If you and others more familiar with the system than I don't think there's additional files then that's good by me.
