Not an unistall .. but theres items in All Programs I don't need

Greetings! :D

I share my PC with my wife (who has her own PC brand new but choose to use mine more so I'll go to h-e-double hockey sticks faster).

Well, she downloads and installs games from http://www.gamehouse.com and Download Games for PC | Safe & Secure PC Game Downloads at Big Fish Games

What I hate is that the installer they use installs the game and then makes it available for everybody to see and use! I do not need to see these items on my desktop (which I hide my icons but sometimes I show them to get a program fast) nor do I wish to have my 'All Programs' list littered with them.

I can take care of the desktop items and just copy the items from C:\Users\Public\Desktop to C:\Users\Wife\Desktop that problems is solved easily! The program list I'm not sure of.

Is there anything I can change within the system so that when she installs a game it installs it in just 'her' own user and not everybody's? :sa:

Thanks for the help in advance!

Hello as the administrator "YOU" set her up as a user account then from the administrator you share those games, then she can play all she wants but won't be able to download anything, and she won't be able to see what you are doing either...

I know what you're trying to do .. but that's a far worse disaster on my ears! lol

Not what I was looking for. If I change her account from an Admin to just a User she's not able to install or uninstall programs.

I dont think that this method changes her account, just permissions for certain programs

I understand that. But this woman installs these games from these two sites like a woman changes her mind (no offense to women, that the #1 rule in the men's hand book that it's a womans prerogative to change her mind).

She's not playing WoW or something like that which would be there for a long time. These are those flash games from the two sites I listed above.

Else ..

I would have done it like that wouldn't have been a biggie!
