Wecam issues, unsure where to post.

I have an integrated webcam in my laptop - which is an Easy Note Packard Bell. When using Skype I try to check if the video settings are working and the following message appears:

Skype has stopped working - windows is checking for a solution to the problem.

Followed by - A problem caused the program to stop working. Then Skype closes.

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Disabling, enabling. How can I get it to function again?

The green light does appear (Indicating that the camera does work) but it doesn't seem to be functioning properly.

The camera is - USB 2.0 3M UVC Webcam

If anyone finds a solution to this I would be eternally grateful!
