I searched the prior requests for help and did not find one that was related to my issue -
I in a frustrated attempt to correct my audio service not running issue due to a different log on related to a dependency - this is paraphrased, I went through and change the log account for all of my services and now have completely messed up the computer. I have attempted to do a system restore, but there is no prior restore point to access. I have found a couple of references to "default" services that should be running and have activated them, but this has not fixed my log on tab issue.
Can someone point me to a reference that would help me determine what account I should list on the "log on" tab under each of the services? In addition to this, if someone could also point out if the hardware profile should be set to enabled or disabled.
On a side note, if there is an easier way for me to set the log on account globally, instead of in each service that would be a plus to assist me in correcting my error.
I have an HP computer running Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
Thanks
