Solved Computer randomly running slow

I have a couple questions about my PC. Lately it has been acting really retarded (For lack of a better word,) mainly it will do things like cause my VLC player to run VERY slowly (So that audio and video slows down and gets choppy i guess you could say) and this is with only It and the bare number of services running (to my knowledge) Also, i have been getting Access violations and "The memory at Blah blah Cannot be read" when i play Starcraft 2 (Something else that has never happened before)

My specs are listed in the "My Specs" Section of my profile thing, i use the Free version of Avast for A/V and AUSlogics boostspeed for general performance increase (Faster and more efficient HDD and Registry defrag, Optimization tools, etc etc)

So my questions are as follows;
1.) What could be causing these problems? Windows updates?
2.) What is the best way to check my computers overall performance or find out where the crap my CPU's power is going and what is using up all my Ram?

I have 55 processes open as of writing this, CPU is at 100% (Prime95 is taking up 85+ Percent, saw it on the Starcraft Forums, says it is like a stress tester or something..)

Welcome

Run a full and updated anti virus scan
Download and run a full scan with malwarebytes
If positive report back
If negative,
Test with a clean boot

If all that does not help, test memory

Download memtest86 and test RAM

www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Run for 8 passes
Ifit passes try a good stick in each slot for 3 passes
Ifit fails do the same for 8 passes.

If it works OK in safe mode

Soluto may give the answer

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/81176-speed-up-performance-vista.html

These should be the first steps that are taken. If everything proves negative, I would go with full malwareware testing with one of our experts.

Although it may not be needed to resolve your problem, can you do the following for me please? It will assist us if you do have an infection, and if you don't it will help my learning :)

OTL

Download OTL to your desktop.
Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed to let it run uninterrupted.
When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
Under the Standard Registry box change it to All.
Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.

Once OTL has completed its first scan it will save notepad copies of the scans in the folder that OTL was started from. Unless set to produce an Extras log it will only produce OTL.txt in subsequent scans.

A copy of an OTL fix log is saved in a text file at

:\_OTL\MovedFiles
in most cases this will be C:\_OTL\MovedFiles

Please attach both OTL.txt and Extras.txt with your next post for me to analyse

Malware Bytes returned 3 registry keys that were supposedly bad, deleted them, rebooted, no increase in performance yet.

Well my issue with this program is that i don't have a flash drive, and my DVD drive is messed up something fierce (Something is wrong with the drivers or something just isn't getting read right.)

Try removing the ram, give it a wipe with a dry cloth and reinstall. Turn off the computer first though.

Weakest part of my computer is the graphics chipset.
    Only ever used a laptop.

What about the clean boot?
Memory is an important part of the test. Slow computer is classic sign of bad memory.

I have not done a clean boot just yet (I don't like resetting my computer because it takes freaking FOREVER to start up)

while i was running the OTL scan i went to shower and was welcomed back with a Blue Screen, i think it said Paged Fault in not paged area or something. I didn't grab the numbers because this is so frustrating. Its almost 6 in the afternoon and i've been working on this stupid thing since 2AM.

Here are the two OTL logs, i am getting the BSOD logs and stuff too.

Also, i am using Vista Home Premium 32 bit... Honestly i remember starting with Home Basic and i'm not too sure how i have Home Premium but i switched the drive over to a custom made system. The hardware isn't really all that old and the installation is between 3-4 years old.

EDIT: Sorry about the doublepost, i wasn't sure how to add files to an already posted comment.

Edit 2: First clean boot i disabled 5 of 11 services (MBAMService, NVIDIA Display Driver Service, NVIDIA Update Service Daemon, Steam Client Service, NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver service) The other 6 services (avast! Antivirus, AWiCSrvc, Copysafe Helper Service, Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater, LogMeIn Hamachi 2.0 Tunneling Engine and InstallDriver Table Manager. As i am typing this second Edit, i got a message from Malwarebytes saying "[OpenEvent] Failed to preform desired action. Error Code 2" I figured it was from stopping the service in my first clean boot. I'll let the computer run and see if i get anymore BSOD's or anything.

Edit 3: So, i just played a game of Starcraft 2 (Which i more then meet the System Requirements for) and it crashed out, the culprit was memory again. So i guess all i can do right now is wait. Forgot to post the error code ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
occurred at 001B:628A1677. The memory at '0x00000000' could not be read.

Edit 4: Well, it appears that because i allowed my Motherboard to Overclock my CPU for me it made it too unstable to use. Since i reset my settings to not overclock my CPU i haven't had any problems.

Hello,

Can you uninstall Frostwire and Daemon Tools Lite for me please?

CKScanner

Please download CKScanner from here to your Desktop.

Make sure that CKScanner.exe is on the your Desktop before running the application!

Double-click on CKScanner.exe and click Search For Files.
After a very short time, when the cursor hourglass disappears, click Save List To File.
A message box will verify the file saved
Attach the log CKFiles.txt that has been created on your desktop with your next post
