Lost pictures

I was attempting to copy pictures from memory card that is inserted into port straight onto a disk. They did not copy, the recycle bin is empty and the pictures on the memory card is gone. Please help find my pictures.

Two ways to try and find them. Download windirstat and see everything that is on the hard drive
http://windirstat.info/

If they are not found they may have been picked up by a restore point that was made
If that is the case
Shadow Explorer can find them for you

I will be honest, I am not very hopeful. In addition if they are not seen by Windirstat, I have very liitle hope that Shadow will find them for you.

Could you explain how you tried to move the pictures from the card to your computer please
