Currently I am using Vista Home Premium.
Should I upgrade it to Windows 7 or Vista Business, or downgrade to XP ?
Thanks

Welcome
That question is subjective, what is good for you might not be good for me.
For me knowing what I do about each, I would go with Seven.
Seven is Vista, with better security and features. XP has seen its time and is history. If you have programs, etc that need XP, you can use compatibity mode.

Bottom line for me, XP is history, (if you really want it you can dual boot), Vista is the older version of Seven. Seven is the way to go. As I said earlier its subjective and that is the answer for me.

In My opinion, Heres the story.
Microsoft is a public company, to keep the price of the stock high, they must make money. They needed to sell an Operating System, Vista was not quite ready, but they released it and it was never a big success. A few years later with all necessary improvments they released it again, but it was called Seven. Many people who had Vista said that they should have Seven for free, but Microsoft said no. What they did was have a prebuy period, and they sold Seven for $49.99 3 months before it was released. That is how I got mine. It was never stated, but I think that was to aplogize to those who had bought Vista.
No doucments or proof to back any of this up, but that is my opinion, and the facts surrounding it.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. As long as you can do everything with your current system that you want to do, there is no reason to upgrade - and certainly no reason to wrestle with this defunct XP.

Windows7 is SP3 of Vista. They just had to find a new name because of the history of Vista. But I always liked Vista which I was using since day1 - Febr. 1, 2007.

So there you go, two opinions. Both agree, forget XP.
One for Vista
One for Seven
As I said it was a subjective question. Glad that you now have two opinions.
