Weird activation thing suddenly popping up

I have been using this copy of windows vista 64 for 4 years now. About a month ago I did a complete wipe and reinstalled windows again using the same cd and key.

Now I have just got a a message pop up saying

"an unauthorized change was made to windows" I googled the problem abit and it turns out that I need to activate my windows. However when I try to do that I get this error

I have been told that once I turn my computer off or restart it it will limit my windows to basically nothing so I really dont want to restart it until I figure out the problem.

Thanks for any help.

In addition to that I downloaded a program called Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool and it says invalid licience?? Even though I installed it using the CD key that ive been using for years!

I installed Vista previously on 2 other old hard drives which are now long gone in the trash. How can I reslove this?

Do the AntiVirus, too. Use Microsoft Security Essentials and the Windows Fire Wall
