This fix worked for me. . .
To resolve this isse, I first recommend you to run System File Checker.
This will check for the corrupted Windows system files and replace them with
a fresh copy. Use the following steps to run System File Checker:


1. Click the Start button.
2. In the Search box, type command prompt.
3. In the list of results, right-click Command Prompt, and then click
Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password
or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
4. Type the following command and press Enter.

sfc /scannow
