Multiple users/folders/files mess

Greetings and salutations- quite some time ago i needed to restore files to my computer from an external hard drive. During this process, I also changed the name of my administrator user account. What I have now is a labyrinthine mess of redundancies, multiple paths, folders with the same name but different contents, etc. Some of the Documents folders even say I don't have permission to open them. I have tried using duplicate cleaner and another of other cleaning/optimization programs to cut out some of the excess fat- and I have tried merging/deleting folders only to have come darn near disaster each time.

The primary concern for me is finding a way to merge my music folders (there's like 4 of them each with it's own Itunes subfolder and often different files in them). I have alot of music and very little space left on my hard drive. I would like to find a way to organize my folders so as to make navigation easier as well as possibly save some space. I am including a link to a screenshot showing the situation below. Note Poopship Destroyer is my current user account name, Captain Delightful is my former user account name, and HAL is the name of my computer. Sorry for the long post... and if I've violated any forum decorum this is my first ever utilization of the format.

How can I safely merge Poopship Destroyer's files with that of Captain Delightful's?
For the love of Blog help me!
