Windows Vista problems

I can't connect to the internet. Some programs will update and it shows I am connected but I can't browse.

My Start menu is not the same as original and does not give some information

My disk defragmenter has been running slowly for slowly for 16 hours and just keeps on going.

Is there any way to easily see the largest files on the hard drive. Total 260 gb with 180 used but I have not used it that much.
