You could also use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to disable Shut Down for specific users in Vista.

I would say, judging from your error code, that your "User or Group" is incorrect. What are you entering as your "User or Group" at the moment, and could you try something which you know is correct to test?

I am using another regular account called "Ben" this is what I am putting in:

I personally think it might be that the ntrights program is for xp and windows 2003 only.
