2 Temp folders

%temp% brings up 2 temp folders, Temp and temp. Both seem to hold the same files. Guidance please.

Download ccleaner and run it. Then check for the folders, they will both probably be gone.

I've used Ccleaner and other programs before on my last computer but I tend to shy away from any programs now that I can do without. It may be overly cautious but I figure the less you have/use the less that can go wrong.

I performed a restart and the 2nd folder, temp, is no longer there.

If anyone knows why I had two of these folders I'd like to know. I Googled it but couldn't find anything.
