Welcome
A complete guess on my part. From my expereince the only time there are no hits in Google, is when a name changing virus is involved. Can this situation, somehow, be related to your problem?

Hello!

Well, an error which could make sense in that context is "NTLDR is missing", and I wonder if EGCWT is a foreign translation of that...bit of a longshot though. Is your computer in a foreign language? Has it ever been (you see, this is the bootloader, rather than OS itself, and language fiddling will affect it very little) or has the computer been bought in a non-English primary language country/anything foreign at all?

Richard

As it happens thankfully after switching drives around and around it eventually did a scan on the hard drive and set about auto repair.
So at present it's all working again.
Not sure what the (EGCWT is missing) was all about, the computer is all UK set up and built by my self a couple of years back.

The only thing I could think is that I moved the GPU at some point not to the point of disconnection. but may be it didn't like being moved?

It does now also seem to recognize my OCZ-vert ex2 ssd as it has not in the past but still seemed to work OK.

Thanks. all for your response's and trying to help, much appreciated. :)
