hi .i just did build a brand new computer .
now my problem is when i put my pc to sleep the screnn turn off but my pc stay on .all it happen is the power light on it is flashing .
i did exactly what you explain in your totual .
my old computer turn the pc off .
now i was reading that when you put the pc to sleep and the power light is flashing that mean it sleeping .but i like it to turn right off .so my fans [9] will stop running for nothing .
is there i way to shot it off complitly .

hibernate is the same as turning it off .
i have to use the power button to turn it back on .
sleeping mode all you do is move your mouse or tap a key on the key board .
this is what i like to set up .my old pc i put it to sleep .the next morning all o do is tap on the key board and that is it .i only turn it off twice a week .
this how it work on other pc for the last 5 years .
i did check all my setting on my old pc and i did set my new the same way .but it never turn right down.
i was not able to do the bios on it so this guy did it for me but i thing that he did not do the power management in the bios ..
you guy all know me .i am no good on a computer .not for the bios anyway .
