A curiosity question about external disk size
I have an Iomega external and the size is 320 GB. It shows that I have 199 GB free out of 298. I know you never have as much actual space as given in the specs, but 32 GB seems like a lot of loss. Is this correct?

Yha, the conversion loss is actually bigger than you'd think it is.
But it does work in your favour when buying ram.. as 1Gig is 1024Megs

Thanks all. But now I have another question. Why would there be restore points on my external?

Its probably not a restore point per say, but files associated with a restore point for that drive.
