Hi, I posted a short time ago about Spooler sub system app has stopped working,
went through the reply i recived Adminstrive tools but that didn't cure it.
The problem becomes a bind every time you start up & the message shows up
the solution they give does not seem to cure it. to select the proggrammes that the spooler should manage. My printer is a Lexmark x1270, any idea's how i can get rid of this problem? would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome
Try to reinstall the printer driver. If it came on a CD, unistall printer and reinstall.
If you have no CD, unistall driver, go to printer website and install driver

Hi Rich, I have done as you instructed, unistalled the printer, but the trouble is now
i cannot reinstall my printer because at the computer start up a message comes up
Print spooler app has stopped working. i then follow the instructions to start the print spooler as when compleated you have to restart the computer, so when i go to install the printer a message comes up again print spooler stopped working. So you see i cannot install the printer. IS THERE A WAY ROUND THIS. Thanks.

:cry:Hi Rich did manage to reinstall the printer but same problem started again can i uninstall the print spooler & reinstall it? Thanks

Try this
1. Click Start, type services.msc and hit Enter
2. Scroll down to Print spooler.
3. Right click and click properties, click the tab “Dependencies”
4. Note all of the dependent services listed, and then close the Print Spooler Properties window.
5. Repeat the above steps for the dependent services noted.

If it still does not work,, uninstall the drivers and install, again.
