    Booth Manager

Initially i had XP and Vista in two different drives. An Year later i no longer wanted Vista, so i formatted the respective drive( D: ) .But the problem is that when booting i still get 2 options ie., XP or Vista. How do i disable this and I want XP to be booted by default. Please Help

    Thank you for the reply.
But i no longer have Vista installed. Moreover I tried doing this in XP and I could find only one OS Mentioned, which is XP the default. Though I changed the time to 0 seconds I am still getting the Boot Manager screen with 2 Options

    Re: Booth Manager

That actually did not solve my confusion. Is there any other way possible?? Like is it possible to install any OS say LINUX in my D: so that the boot manager would only show Linux and XP...Also is it possible to remove the LINUX later??If so how?

    Re: Booth Manager

    Thanks Rich.
I am in a much bigger trouble. Using BCDEDIT.exe i tried altering the Default OS to XP and deleted Vista from the boot manager. But now, it works other way round. Vista is being loaded and ends with an Error page. XP not found in option to boot. Planning to Install XP in D: and then try to make C: as default OS.And then will later remove OS in D:..Is that a good way?? Pls help
