At start up my mouse pointer gets stuck at the top of the screen and will not move - I have alogitech M705 wireless keyboard and mouse. It has worked perfectly and suddenly this happenened for unknown reasons.
I try to fix it with the help of the debug program on my PC but to no avail.
Help or suggestions are much appreciated.- Thanks

Welcome
Should be easy, go to searh(By start button)
Type device manager. In DM, updat the mouse driver
If that does not help try another mouse or try your defective mouse on another computer to test.

Another thing you can try if you have a Restore Point dated before the problem, is a system restore. If it starts working then it was a software issue. But I would try resetting the driver first as rich suggested.

Go to Pointer Options and check the box "show location of pointer when I press CTL". Then press CTL when the pointer gets stuck - it may release it.

I found that there was a conflict with Vista and the HID compliant device.
I disconnected my wireless Logitech Mouse and Keyboard and deleted the listings in the device manager. - Am now working with an old ordinary wired keyboard and mouse. So good for technical inovations.
