Window Vista Start Up Error 0xc0000001

Hello,

Everytime I open my Window Vista it says the error 0xc0000001 code.

It won't let me start up my laptop and it making me go back to that page over and over again.

I had tried doing the safe mode operation and the window vista recovery disk repair options but still it didn't work.(Also tried doing the bootrec.exe on the command prompt but still didn't work too.)

I'm really out of options and have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Thank you.

Is that all it says? Is there an error message? What happens when you try safe mode?

Ok. I suggest that you go the manufacturer's website and download a diagnostic tool from the website to test the hard drive with.
