Solved Drag Letters

Hi. How do I drag letters? i.e 'A' in the first cell, then drag it across other cells to give A B C D E F...........etc? Thanks

You need a progam like Excel, do you have it?
Excel is part of Office
If you do not have it, get the free open office

Iv'e got Office, I just cant work out how to get Excel to auto insert letters into other cells when I drag from a cell with 'A' in it

Hi Rich, thanks for trying to help, however the above really doesn't work in Vista. I've found a way of doing it though. Click the Office Button in Excel and then click Excel Options. On the "Popular" tab there is an "Edit Custom Lists" button. Click that and then create any list that you want Excel to create. For the alphabet, you need to add all letters and add the list. Only need to do this once. Excel will then drag out letters from then on.
