Solved deleted video web camera

I couldn't find my video web camera so I went to my Program Files and dragged it onto my desktop, but I didn't realize dragging it would remove it from its original destination.. I placed it on my task-bar and start menu, deleted the desktop shortcut and emptied my recycle bin only to find out that my task bar icon and start menu icon had changed and the files couldn't be opened because the original file was misplaced.. When I went back to my Program Files all the other stuff is there like the flip control, help, image.dll, Suyin registry entries, but I can't find the little icon with the camera, so I might have deleted it for good. How do I get it back?

Reinstalling your web camera's driver/software should be able to restore it for you. :)

What if I don't have the software? Do you think it would work if I did a system restore? I have no idea where my laptop box went with all the software... is there any other way of retrieving it? Thanks again : )

A system restore should work as well.

What brand and model number is your laptop? I may be able to find your driver download page on the manufacturer's website in case you may need it in the future. :)
